Björn axén kollektion 2010
Björn Axén has collaborated closely with the fashion industry for many years. We hold a special place in our heart for young Swedish design. Following successful new Swedish talents is very exciting. It is truly something we want to contribute to and encourage; and actually the main reason why we’ve started The Björn Axén Hair Collection in collaboration with a Swedish young clothing brand. We’ll continue to bring out new talents that inspire us; talents we believe deserve some extra attention. Our hopes are that we’re starting something that will become a long tradition.
Our very first Collection 2010 collaboration partner is Noir et Blanc. We see many of our own values in the creations of this design duo: a classical, pure style design with a new and exciting expression. Their strong silhouettes and distinct shapes transmit a sense of self-assuredness and drama that both impresses and inspires.
“This collaboration, creating a new concept together that adds the best of two worlds, is really exhilarating. We are very flattered by the fact that Björn Axén has chosen to interpret Noir et Blanc and the Deconstructed Bodies collection. They’ve interpreted it and strengthened its form with a design language that is relatively new to us. It is amazing to see the interaction between our garments and their innovative hairstyles.
